April 10, 2008:
MCN awarded a 2008 Grand Prize by the Association for Retail Environments (A.R.E), for the project “Sweetgreen”. In addition to the recognition MCN’s achievement received during the Retail Design Awards and GlobalShop at the awards ceremony held at McCormick Place West Ballroom in Chicago, the presentation, held at the end of the first day of GlobalShop, presented 62 awards to 43 projects for the innovation and quality of their environment designs.

The Solar Decathlon Competition:
MCN’s determination for the fulfillment of its mission to build the future with projects that preserve and empower its community and the firm belief of its team members in sustainable construction made it an easy sell when it was approach by the Universidad Politecnica de Madrid (UPM) about sponsoring their participation in the 2007 Solar Decathlon on the National Mall in Washington DC.
