Jennie Dean Park

MCN Build was selected as the General Contractor for Jennie Dean Park’s long-anticipated transformation. This 12.56-acre park offers two illuminated diamond fields, a lighted tennis court, a basketball court, a playground for pre-school and school-aged children, two picnic shelters, an all-gender restroom building, green casual use space, and a stream overlook. The scope of work included landscaping, site circulation, furnishings, signage, stormwater management, parking, public art, and historic interpretation elements. The new, re-designed playground is now closer to S. Four Mile Run Drive and more visible and accessible to the surrounding community. It’s ADA-accessible with age-separated areas and state-of-the-art safety features, including poured-in-place rubber surfaces.
