MCN Build seeks superintendents who will embrace our core values, take ownership of all field operations, and direct the flow of the work consistently according to the project schedule. The project superintendent needs to have excellent communication skills and be well respected by the subcontractor community. The project superintendent and the project manager must work together as a complementary team.
Standard functions and responsibilities vary depending on the scope and magnitude of the project, but typically include the following:
• Manage relationships with clients, internal team, subcontractors and inspectors
• Develop detailed project logistics plan
• Direct responsibility for developing and managing project specific safety plan
• Develop project flow
• Develop and maintain project master schedules and three week forecasts
• Conduct subcontract meetings to discuss job progress and safety
• Coordinate material deliveries
• Insure work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications and local building codes
• Maintain project documentation to include daily reports and jobsite progress photos
• Enforce quality control plan
• Lead and mentor other employees
• Have foresight to predict problems before they develop
Qualified candidates will have 5-10 years of commercial general construction experience. A working knowledge of OSHA safety regulations is required. Computer literacy is a plus.
